My stay at the hotel was truly enjoyable. The rooms were lovely, clean, and comfortable, and the food was excellent. The only downside was the unfriendly service upon registering.

The rooms were lovely, clean, and comfortable with spacious beds that were very comfortable.
Service
7.0
The service was a bit of a mixed experience; while some staff members were very attentive and made us feel well looked after, the service upon registering was remarkably unfriendly.
Location
8.0
The location was spot on for us, especially as we had our dog with us. Being set back from the A7, it was convenient with a garden area and park just across the road, as well as being a short distance to shops.
Dining
8.0
The dining experience was professionally cooked and presented by efficient and tentative staff. The food was delicious, but the portion size was a bit lacking in some items like a single tiny sausage and a rasher of bacon.

The facilities were good, and the hotel had beautiful grounds and a nice quiet setting.

I had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The room was beautiful; the bed was so comfy, with lovely linen and fluffy towels in the amazing bathroom. The peaceful and quiet location was perfect, despite being above the function room. The rooms are huge and very clean, offering a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere.

The hotel is located in a quiet and secluded setting, ideal for walking and enjoying the beautiful grounds. The rooms are immaculate, but some may find the location a bit out of the way. The dining experience can be disappointing with basic offerings, yet the service is tremendously accommodating and professional.

7.6/10

My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms were beautiful and clean, though the location above the function room in the ground floor annexe gave a clinical feel. The service was excellent with friendly and helpful staff, but the dining experience left much to be desired. The location was great, near the town center and in beautiful grounds, but there were some issues with room odors and dining quality.

Rooms

The rooms were beautiful and clean but being above the kitchen resulted in occasional fried food and bacon smells.

The location was exactly what we needed - quiet, close to town, and with a lovely area for drinks outside.
Dining

The dining experience was a letdown as some dishes seemed microwaved and basic items had to be requested.
